On March 12, I booked a Mercure in Aachen, Germany, for April 8-10. Business plans changed, and I cancelled on March 21, far in advance of the actual trip.
The credit card charge for the full stay is non-refundable.
This was not a special price, just their normal sleazy business practice.
Never again, not with that company.
